WOMA Assured Customer Information
WOMA Assured is a multi point mechanical inspection undertaken by fully qualified
Vehicle Technicians, with background knowledge of a broad spectrum of vehicles.
The WOMA scheme is designed to provide customers with all the information required to make an informed decision about potential purchases, whilst being backed up with a piece of mind guarantee.
The report gives you a snapshot of the vehicle’s mechanical condition and is accurate at the point of inspection.
The majority of vehicles with a CAP Value over £1,000.00 will now be offered with the WOMA Assured Guarantee.

Vehicles sold under the scheme come with our assurance that the areas covered are as described on our WOMA Assured report.
Should any element not meet the standard detailed, we will happily look to replace, repair or refund the sale price, subject to conditions set out in our terms & conditions.
How much will it cost?
An additional charge is due for each vehicle covered by WOMA Assured. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for full details. The additional charge is added to the sale price of the vehicle.

WOMA Assured - Component Coverage
Starts – On the turn of the key- recorded with a tick.
With assistance - recorded with a tick
Persistent issues with starting – recorded with a X
Won’t start - recorded with a X
Starter Motor – Operational, starts engine without obvious excessive noise- recorded with a tick.
Engine running / smoking – with the engine running any visible leaks or abnormal noises emitting from the engine bay will be recorded as a X
Engine oil (not contaminated) – the oil filler cap will be removed and if contamination / frothing is observed, recorded as a X.
Coolant (not contaminated) – coolant filler cap will be removed and if impurities are observed they will be recorded as a X.
Head Gasket – a visible inspection of the head gasket will be carried out from the top of the engine bay no panels / obstructions will be removed in this process and leaks from this area of the engine as a result of a suspected blown head gasket will be recorded as a X.
Exhaust System - not blowing – Whilst the engine is running excessive noises resulting from the exhaust system will be recorded as a X..
Only the above areas within the Engine bay are covered no other claims outside of these will be considered.
Dashboard Warning Lights:
Engine Management Light – If illuminated will be marked with a X (no diagnostic as to the cause will be provided and any results from future diagnostic checks conducted after the point of sale are not covered by assured.)
ABS - If illuminated will be recorded as a X.
Oil Warning Light - If illuminated will be recorded as a X.
Brake Light - If illuminated will be recorded as a X.
Service Message Light - If illuminated will be recorded as a X.
DPF Light - If illuminated will be recorded as a X.
4 Wheel transmission Service light - If illuminated will be recorded as a X, if not present N/A.
Airbag - If illuminated will be recorded as a X.
Functioning at 5mph – will be tested and deemed to bring the vehicle to a halt in a distance commensurate with the speed and recorded as a tick (noises are not covered and no visual checks are conducted of any related brake parts including linings and pipes etc.)
Tyres: (MOT Standard)
The tyre tread depths will be measured across three points of the tyre and recorded.
Damage will be noted including puncture, abnormal shoulder wear, bulge in the side wall, or abnormal shoulder wear.
Note: Perished tyres or tyre dates are not covered, wheels are not removed and all observations are only from the outer walls and tyre tread – tyre claims resulting from mis description will be actioned as a percentage contribution, not replacement.
Gearbox - Vehicles will be driven in 1st and reverse gears only (5mph max speed) Static gear selection will then be conducted with the hand / parking brake is on, in the case of auto / semi auto this will be conducted where the transmission allows – any faults will be recorded as a X and a note will be made of any observations.
Clutch (not slipping) – hand / parking brake applied 1st gear selected, throttle applied if the clutch slips this will be recorded as a X. (slipping between gear selection or noises from the clutch during normal driving are not covered.)
Dual Mass Flywheel (not noisy) – vehicles will be listened to for excessive noise resulting from faulty dual mass fly wheels, recorded with a X (whilst stationary with neutral selected), no invasive checks are conducted.
This is a ride height check conducted on each of the 4 corners of the car, confirming the car appears level and the suspension operates correctly (i.e. self-levels without excessive bounce)
Issues identified from these checks will be recorded with a X (These checks do not cover any other ailments other than those identified via a bounce test)
N.B. Excludes air suspension.
Engine Oil Level – Levels below min or above max markers will be recorded.
Coolant Level - Levels below min or above max markers will be recorded.
Convertible roof mechanism – checked for operation, whilst stationary, and will be recorded with a X if a fault is diagnosed or N/A where applicable.
Electric sunroof functions - checked for operation, whilst stationary, and will be recorded with a X if a fault is diagnosed or N/A where applicable.
All electric windows Function Correctly - checked for operation, whilst stationary, and will be recorded with a X if a fault is diagnosed or N/A where applicable.
Panoramic Blinds (electrically operated) checked for operation, whilst stationary, and will be recorded with a X if a fault is diagnosed or N/A where applicable.
